Great ride, great weather, good roads, good food and coffee, plenty of bikes out. 6 of us in our little group.
One little downfall!! How does a spark plug work its way loose. Blew out about 2 km before garage before Kawhia. Pulled in there thinking engine had blown but no - 2nd spark plug had come out. Thanks Mark for helping out

Tomorrow, weather permitting, I'm going to take a run over to the Mount and see for myself the ship and the beach.
Yes, I know it is 'rubbernecking' but if I stay out of the way of the operation, I would like to see 1st hand, the disaster. I'll grab a bite at Macca's for tea.
Will leave Te Awamutu about 3-4pm. I need to be back home for work by 9pm. If anyone wants to come for an evening ride we could meet up at Cambridge.

no ride planned this weekend and it looks like its going to be wet. Nigel (sorrelboy) is looking at planning a ride shortly up to the lighthouse at the Manukau heads and Nov 6th looking at joining the local ulysses group for a secret run to Taumaranui. (Meeting 10.00 am Caltex Te Awamutu) Start dusting those bikes off. And if anyone interested a 2 nighter to Palmerston North 18th & 19th November. And then JMK's charity run end of Nov?? (a run we have always supported for a great local charity)

Nah, Decided that the fuel wasn't worth using up on a short run ( time wise) so will head over there somewhere next Weds/Thursday. (days off).
What day would Nigel be looking at for the run to Manukau heads? Went up there a few weeks ago. Lovely scenery and roads.
The run to Taumaranui sounds okay.
