I did. The topic has nothing to do with racing. It's a medical question, hence it goes in off-topic.

Sorry to hear that you still have a broken arse Chick.

To be honest, I would be a little wary about 'massage' of any kind on a bruise this bad. It could very easily exacerbate the injury, especially if your tailbone has not mended yet. How is your "range of motion"? Is your arse still sore when sitting for lengthy periods of time? Bending over still painful?

Above all else..... a second opinion, your GP sounds rather unhelpful to be honest. There are sports medicine Drs around, specialising in these types of injuries - seek one out in your area.

Get heaps of fibre and fluids into you (not beer ) these nutrients in your diet will be a big help too.

There is an arnica spray which is faster acting. Sprayed under the tongue - faster delivery to the blood stream = betterer results.
No body move... I dropped my brain

Yep, been shoving the arnica pills down... will look at getting the spray too....

Just been to see my doc, who while she doesn't believe in 'alternative treatments' she does believe that arnica is effective. However she believes (along with the lady at the health centre) that it is a little bit too bad and too late for arnica to be effective

Today I have been to see the doc again who tried anothe fine needle aspiration to no avail. I have just come back from getting an ultrasound but pretty much looks like its not infected (yay).....

I'm with actupunture, it's simple as, what ya do is squeese your arse down the dunny for half an hour and when ya stand up, whaaaalaaaa pins an needles all ova ya arse !!!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I had a simple low side that saw me crash right into the lip (a few inches high) on the edge of ripple strip on one of the fastest corners of the track. The impact was such that I was flung into the air and thrown/rolled bowled and arseholed - several metres off the track so I was just very unlucky. Or lucky, as it could have been much worse!

Yes, I was wearing a back protector and yep it's a good quality one.

Yep and TBH if was kind of made worse by the back protector as I smashed myself right where the edge of the back protector sits (bad luck). The initial bruise was shaped like a back protector around the edge and ripple strip in the middle...

Not wanting to sound like a freak, but looking at the picture that would mean the bottom wasnt long enough, as it should cover the top part of the bum bum

At least you only got a haematoma and nothing worse so all good !
