Finally I get the computer to thank everyone for a great weekend

It was great to finally put faces and real names to KB names

Hope everyone had a great time absolutly buggered now though...got home around 5ish after helping a biker on the motorway who'd broken down!

Thanks again to Mark and Anne for organising it all! when's the next one??

THANKS to Mum and Maha and all the leaders/TECs. hats off to you!!!! there is something very special about group rides ... people watching out for each other .... supporting and enouraging and sometimes laughing

Stay upright! and I'll try too. hope to see some of u again soon.

p.s. grant / Mum - Luka was waiting at the school gate ha ha ha.

Noticed a problem with my bike in the last ~50km home, if i'm doing less then 70 and let go, the head starts shaking worse and worse. No idea when it started, because it only happens it only happens when there is no damping on the steering (namely me holding on) and I don't do a lot of no handed riding. Only happens sub 70kph though.

I'm thinking wheel alignment, anything else it could be?

Those boys kindly offered to gang rape on the way home :-) I told them if I accepted it wouldn't be rape. Actually a good thing they insisted so much on escorting me as we couldn't see nout without Matt's LED torch! Thanks boys!!

We saw a few fish jumping around whilst sitting on the waters edge in Mangonui! Lovely stuff.

p.s. i didn't accept but nor was there any criminal activity.

Not sure about any one else but I am a little jaded, and I was mainly a passenger this weekend.
I tried to do the washing but our machine is busted. Never mind, should have enough clean to get us through till it's fixed.

Got home and all I wanted to do was collapse. Then I found I had to head in to work. Bummer...

Quick blast in to town and then came home to make ham, cheese and tomato toasteds and a pile of pancakes. Yum...

Awsome weekend guys. New friends made and, even as some of the more experienced riders, some lessons learned (never too late for that). Looking forwad to the next one we can be part of.

I was very impressed with the progress of those ahead of me. Well done all of you.

Loose headset, bent fork or frame, wheel out of true or balance. In no particular order. Also do wheel alignment.

My bike does this also. But thats due to the rider........
