Goff clearly had Key rattled last night when that question was raised...
The Spin Doctors had about 12 hours to come up with an ''official'' response for the media today.
Same with the benefit cuts question earlier on.

But yes...Goff sounded very Key-esk when pushed for a definitive answer.

Goff spends more time being negative about Key, than telling us what he actually intends to do...Even though as a politician he won't do what he says anyway.

Yeah it was almost as if Key hadn't heard a thing about it... which he hadn't... neither had the Commisioner of Police, the head of the Police union or the Minister of Police.

1) ''We will balance the books about the same time as National''
