I took a trip through to Bannockburn today ... took a few pics in the area.
1: The camp buildings.
2: About one km of well packed gravel to the gate.
3: The gate.
4: The start of the gravel ... (Nevis rd)
5: The view frm NEAR the top.
6: A side track off the main track is a common sight in the Nevis road area. Where they end up ... ???

It's OK ... riders have crashed in the Waikato on tarseal ...You would have no problems on your bike on it ... and it's downhill going away from the camp.
