I listened to an interview with him on the radio, and tried to win one when Boundary Road were doing one as a prize. He had a lot of really interesting things to say about oxidisation and such.

I was quite seriously talking to three friends about buying one between us: $1500 in each give or take, and 5l of beer each a week. We havent done it yet. The issue is that I have really cut down on my drinking over the last six months (it was getting a bit out of hand for a while) so I would not see the benefit from it.

    Heres the audio

I was fortunate enough to spend a couple of hours in the company of Ian Williams earlier this year. I know very little about the art of brewing but know enough about Ian to understand that he is a Master Brewer and has stepped back from a highly rewarding career with multi-nationals to pursue this business venture. The conference I alluded to earlier was attended by a number of blokes with decades of personal experience with home brewing and not one of them had anything but high praise for Ians machine and the beer it produces.

Do you really believe that the youngest person ever to be awarded the title of Master Brewer, who has travelled the world working in & setting up new breweries for the biggest names in the industry is going to walk away from that to pursue what you describe as a "scam" from little old New Zealand?.

If you do believe that then you're even more narrow-minded than I thought.

Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you? Were you dropped at birth or something? The fact that you love to talk about cock so much means that you're probably a little faggot in denial.

You'd be a lot better off just buying a fermenter, wash hydrometer, airlock, airlock grommet and stirring spoon. Buy some Coopers homebrew kits from Pak n Save, then dry hop with hop pellets or dried hops.

It's a scam. For a decent brew it will take at least 3 months from start to finish.
Ah so your are a master brewer then?
