    Announce Corner Points System

My decision on how this ride will go is to ride as two groups till we get to Rangiriri.
From there, we will use the CPS (Corner Points System...yes I made that up)
Anyway, how this works, is as followers...it is really simple..
Please read, re-read and read again until you know you are happy that you understand it.

At each corner, check your mirrors, if there is nobody behind you...wait.
The lead rider/s will carry on without stopping (until they think a regroup is requiered)

    Any questions?

At each intersection or each corner???? And by wait do you mean stop or do the slow race?

The lead riders will know the way (there will be three riders in charge of the group)....most will not at times.
Not all three will bang on ahead if there is no other bikes in thier mirrors when they reach a corner.
The Corner Points System requires only one rider at each corner....ja?

I'm finding this a bit confusing myself.

Is it the intention that the first person to get to a corner stops and points the way for everyone else?

If they don't know the way, then hopefully they are followed by someone who does, thereby enabling them to point the way for everyone else?

If that is the case, how do they know when the last person has passed? Will there be a designated TEC who collects the "pointer" as they pass.

Maybe I'm just confused (situation normal)

I am hoping that he means corners as in turning into a new road so that we don't all end up in different parts of the Waikato/BOP area. Normal travel on the road should be no different than what we did on the cape with FEC leading the way and keeping overall eye on the group with TEC following up the rear.

re-group if ultimately FEC feels that there is to bigger split happening.

It's to avoid any unintentional detours.... so if there is a gap in the group and we get to an intersection/turn off/fork in road etc, and you can't see the rider behind you - you wait until you know that the person behind you has seen which direction/turn off/route/fork in the road the group is taking so we stay together and get to the same place - believe me we have lost people by NOT doing this...
