If you think that's bad, the standard V8 VL Commodores only had around 165bhp.

125kw from memory, the injected Walky was 184 or 186?
The old 308 wasn't a huge ball of fire by that stage lol Did a good skid and made pretty noises though, just like the 304...

I'll just stick to my old-skool Yank V8s, dunno what my 'strongest' one is in h.p. (Probabbly only about 410-430) but enough torque to tear the skin off a rhino.

And the noise, ah the noise.

And style - it's all about style baby, never likely to pull up at the lights and look at the clone of MY ride.

Yeah my mate had one of the old VL V8 Commodores, came with an LSD as well. Very fun car to drive as it did some nice burnouts.

I'll take an older one too, my flatmate had a '76 TransAm, the old 400ci donk, it made brilliant noises (no HP, but I couldn't care less)
Can't beat an old iron block for noise

I think a skid was all you could do in a VL lol

I am also a DB fan myself.

Don't give a fuck about jap or auzzy cars to me they are just vehicles for young spotty yobbo's and old fat yobbo's.

Now if it was a Aerial or Caterum car with an obscene power to weight........

Or even a Morgan or Lotus.....
    Just another leather clad Tinkerbell.

The R32 was a wee tiny bit overrated in standard form, they don't go, handle or stop that well.
    Veilside's one did.

Isn't it sad............................................130 0hp in car used to be a massive achievement.

God I love the R35 though. In the same note I also hate it.
It was the first car I sat in, that crushed my dreams of owning an exotic. I used to be a Lambo man through and through. Then I sat in a R35 and I wanted to hate it.......I could not fault it on anything.
At that point the dream changed.

That's not a standard GT-R... The R32 wasn't as biblical as people like to say in standard form, hell it could barely hold off a Mitsi GT0 at Tsukuba.

Have to agree with how good the R35 is. But, each to their own eh?

I was happily proven wrong (See my previous post).
I had sat and driven a few lovely cars in my time. And to explain how I felt when I got in an R35 (well technically it was an R37) I am going to give you a scenario.

Imagine you are a master chef. You are the cream of the crop when it comes to fine cuisine.
You have used the best knives known to man - some with handles made of fine ivory. You have used the biggest knives, the sharpest knives. The best of the best.

Someone gives you a set of Ginzu knives for xmas.
At first you humor them and cut some thing simple......to your supprise it does it with ease. And its so comfortable.

At the end of the day your saying things like "Holy shit I can cut timbre with this knife!"
