Feb 5 2012 the day the 2 stroke machines rose up and overthrew their recent captors
A day to be remembered haha
My neighbours diary says I have boundary issues
Ouch yeah that'd slow u up a bit!!
a tad late and off topic.. Thanks to steve and co. for another great meet and to all the munters that came out and got trollied.. my team mate especially, who is surprisingly a lot heavier than he looks, i found out as i attempted to carry him to bed..but thanks to him and raiden the romainan plum whisky is gone and thank god for that!
i do have a question though....what on earth possessed me and henk to have a head-butting comp?
Bring on te puke.. im gona get pissed in my helmet i think...
It was spectacular.
I hear the people in the "Chook Shed" Timing booth had pieces of shrapnel ringing off the walls as it exploded in a catastrophic mess.
I think Rich said the felt the shrapnel blow past as she went.
There were bits of fried metal all over the show.
My view of it from a far-away flag point was quite crazy, one of those ones where you wish you had a camera because you can't adequately convey the images in your memory.
I just saw this huge plume of smoke erupt from the back of the bike. Poor Brayden was the new guy in the flag box before it and had Hels and I both screaming at him, he didn't know what was going on but those who have seen a good pop before knew it was going to be messy.
I'm still amazed at how big the 'pop' was, by far the biggest and nastiest I've seen.
Heinz Varieties
were you involved too? oh no... no wonder i couldnt think/ride straight on sunday...i knew it wasnt the alcomohol...
I have no idea what you are on about. Must have been after I went to bed.
and there was this fat old guy out on a clapped out RG50 giving people riding FXR150's the learn..!!
shame i was not there on saturday...
would love to get back to this track one day...
thanks to the organisers !!! woo hoo..!!
all the bike needs now is so new tyres and a better rider (lighter)![]()
what a ride so far!!!!
Dear AJ,
I hate to shatter your illusions, dearest, but . . .
Str8 was having problems with her carpal tunnel and I'm older than you (I think, 'cause Skunk told me I'm older than everyone) and have a severe lack of talent. (My bike suffers the same as yours, except for the tyres lol).
But it was huge fun and that's what it's about for me. At least this year I didn't stop riding mid-race so I could watch the racing.
Roll on Te Puke, even if it means missing yet more points at Auckland (I've got so many DNF's and DNS's but get good points in F5 as there's not many of us in the grade lol).
Yours sincerely,
the slow old hag on #44
