Awesome weekend, topped off with a nice bubble bath and now enjoying a bourbon (hubby had to go out and buy coke cos someone drank it all while i was away) and perusing the photos - may just have to ransom some off for the cancer walk fund
What part of party don't you understand?

I'm home too. Wasn't meant to be, but my undies were all wet by Oteha Valley and I couldn't see. Pulled off the m'way to change visors and just kinda kept going until I got here. Cheers for the offer Grant - next time.

Adding my huge thanks to Maha and Mom for an awesome weekend. Thanks to Scott for a fine job at the front of Group 1. Thanks to all the girls who bought sugary alco-pop that I stole so I didn't have to drink my shit beer. Sort of thanks to those JD club people that provided a drink that stripped the enamel off my teeth but also cleaned my chain. And thanks to she who shall remain nameless for "accidently" locking the keys in the boot of the support vehicle so we could have a nap after lunch.

Awesome to meet Tony at last too. Turns out all the lovely things everyone says about the man are true - love it when that happens.

Can't find the thread for the next ride yet? Chop chop Maha, time's a wastin'.....

    Home

What a fabulous weekend! Home safe and dry ( cars dont require wet weather gear). The rain was crappy most of the way home from Mercer so others that had gear failure got wet and a bit chilly. Still a hot cup of coffee and a change of clothes soon sorted that. All the norf contingent are on their way home. Millie has a sister for company tonight. The girls are in the pool room swapping notes

Thanks to everyone for making the weekend so cool. Am tired so will leave the lies and bullshit for another time

    Sleep well guys

Another best time had...wet bits here and there when we got home thanks to Rainy Auckland (it was like that we left yesterday )
Every other part of the ride was sunny and dry...

That $10 per head for food worked well...18 large pizzas delivered in 40 mins...all got eaten and enough bacon/eggs/hash browns/sausages bread/butter was bought with the rest to feed 25 people this morning (must remeber tongs next time)
Great to see Tony...John and Janet...jokes and laughs over a couple of beers.

We have a tent here..its in an orange bag/and a green towel...doesn't smell like anyone I know...
    Pics to load
The next Ride is in the mnaking...wont wait so long this time...maybe 6-7 weeks

Thanks to eveyone who came on the ride (settle Matt ) you are the ones that make the time away a pleasure.

    Mark

Edit: Just a little tease pic....Mr Hunk himself!

Interesting experiment. I have learned ALOT about makin bacon. The next batch will be better. This was too salty for my taste, but I guess washing all the excess salt off before smoking would have fixed that
