I kept my top speed at 100, if a corner was signposted I slowed down appropriately. Not hugely slowing down, admittedly, but keeping the average pace more than comfortable. Although, in saying that, there was a section of unpainted road that I took a lot slower, because it was a lot less comfortable to navigate without a centre line (without taking focus off what was in the distance to look down at how far over the lane you might be...)

Ha! Well moral of this story everyone... It's better to use lube than panadol. Reduce the risk of injury and the next ride will be even better!![]()
