Un-rolled AP65 basecourse. Terrible stuff on two wheels. I'm just using those words there because I learned them within the last year and I'm proud of myself. When I grow up I want to drive a motor grader.

Yeah. I had Metzeler Tourances on my DR750 BIG. Never took them out anywhere but on tarseal, unfortunately (I blew up the bike before I got anywhere else) but they were about the worst road tyres in the wet ever.

Your tyres weren't the problem though hey, don't blame them - grabbing the front brake was. All good, you won't do it again in a hurry!

I don't think knobs are necessary or even helpful in gravel. That is a theoretical opinion based on road tyres working fine and me not seeing how knobs would improve matters. Maybe an adventure rider type can correct me.

I blame my lack of skill and experience. I had been okay with allowing the bike to move as much as it needed on the loose stuff. I had obviously been kidding myself that I was riding the bike, instead I was a passenger and the bike was in charge. I got nervous and froze, I then slowed down too much got too much of a "wobble on" and braked cos my brain froze.

The guys that I was with are fantastic riders, very experienced and skilled and they thought I had the wrong tyres and that the knobblies would have made it easier.

It doesn't matter now.... I prefer the Harley on the sealed roads as the BMW wallows a bit in the corners and the tyres aren't as sticky as the Harley's. I won't do gravel riding again, to be honest, I am much happier on the Harley. Plus I have to sell it now, as I am not working and we need to get to Australia for a family emergency.

magic ones... ummmm can't remember off the top of my head but they are great in the wet, well great all round really. The guys said I needed sticky tyres cos they could see I had worn my tyres almost to the edge and that I must love corners

LOL, bunch of bikers giving another biker Grief, just for throwin a derogatory thought about cops around. WTF.

Yeah, theres one or two 'good cops' out there. Thats statistics...theres bound to be one or two gooduns. Surprised they lasted tho....what if their bosses found out? And bet they have some serious alcohol dependency issues. Wouldn't you?

But the majority of them.....Fuck em. Along with the non uniformed tax collectors (the IRD variety).

And yeah - suspect on some levels majority of 1% clubs, normal bike clubs, and motorcyclists in general do have a few things in common. A dislike of police, and a passion for bikes.

I'm not a 'biker'. I'm a guy who likes motorcycles.

I don't look to create an mass-media-derived identity for myself by buying toys.

If you do, or if you aspire to, I recommend growing out of it.

You haven't quite worked out how this 'civilisation' thing functions yet, have you?

    No.

I bet you dont hate Doctors because they sometimes wrongly diagnose you with a cold rather than a chest infection.
Yes I hate them because they left me with half a paralysed hand! stuffed up shoulder surgery, waiting on surgery to my left wrist, and now live with chronic pain.... Will never trust them.

Your probably the kinda muppet who gets pulled over for speeding and has a 10 min hissy fit about how the cop is just picking on the little innocent biker, Fuckkkkkkkk off,
Well you have half of me worked out, yes Im half muppet, half blonde! And if Im pulled over by the cops, we end up having a chat...in fact I was in a cop shop yesterday discussing how a quiet town could be so busy for the cop who served me.

So at the end of the day regardless of the quality of the police officers job, it is still their job.
    I wanted to be one,

I bet your job isnt very glamorous, and I bet you make a fuck up every now and again, but I garentee you, you dont get Joe Public abuse you for nothing.
Well, property management isn't what I call glam, get more abuse than you could possibly imagine, its a boring job but pays the bills...being on stage entertainning in the music industry, it's glam! And I love it...As for Joe Public, in my years of employment, I've had my fair share of abuse from the general public, especially when you are dealing with peoples money!

It is easy to judge someone online hiding behind a computer screen. I could paint a picture of you with bloodstained words and probably outride you. I'm sure at some point in your boring life you will "hate" someone and feel real anger. In every job there are incompetent people who are total wankers. Come back to me when you grow some balls and be a real biker.

Feel free to PM me if you are ever in Dudstown and I will tell you to your face how much of a fuckwit you are, it doesnt concern me, I have no 'online persona'

I could paint a picture of you with bloodstained words and probably outride you.

You probably could, I ride my ride and I learn how to further and enhance my riding skill and ability every day I ride, but im sure you will find something else to try and enter yourself int oa dick swinging contest ae?.

I'm sure at some point in your boring life you will "hate" someone and feel real anger.

I have and know a few people I have absolute anger towards, but I dont abuse or disrespect the rest of their familiy or their work place based on that one persons actions, like you have towards the police, im not a eye oned retard.

Did you win last years awards I take it?.

Come back to me when you grow some balls and be a real biker.

Haha again with the dick swinging I see, because of centripetal force, the harder you swing your willy the longer it may appear, you can swingf it as hard and as long as you wish, at the end of the day its going to be the same size as you started off with, so maybe find someone else to play silly buggers with?

He's drill a hole in the back of your head, and finish himself off.

So you 'deep throat' and claim to be able to 'outride' him.

Few of us are "normal" ... and never will be. I enjoy the differences ...

It's good to have an ego of size ... the size is measured by how much you put into it (as can "Gobs")

Hmmmmm size issue raised again ....

size mmmmm ... note to self ... find my ruler ...
