Wheel bearings

I have been trolling the net all morning to find if I can get wheel bearings to make my Honda wheel swap easy.
The wheel spindle I want to use is a 12mm and is the standard Aprilia rs50 one, the Honda has 15mm bore and 35mm OD,
6202 DU is whats on the bearing,
So what I need is a bearing with 12mm x 35mm x11mm.
I can find 12x37x11 but not too keen on machining the wheel if I can help it.

Anyone out there got a better idea?

machine wheel if you can't find bearings online. Should be enough meat for 1mm either side, but you'll have to gauge. Done it before on my RG wheels for same reason

You could just make (or get made) wheel spacers with a sleeve on them. OD 15mm and ID 12mm.
So that they just sit in the bearings and through into the spacer between the bearings. (so that everything torques up nicely)

Firstly, what's on line isn't all that's available...try a specialist bearing supplier, preferably a small one. In ChCh South Island Bearings can find most orphan sizes for me. One example, a gearbox bearing in an obsolete size...found in a dealers dead stock in Bundaberg...

Secondly, I've also made up stepped spacers to suit a wheel/axle mismatch, works well.

just tell tem what sizes you need and to look in all there catalouges.

i did step spacers on trailer as i have 15mm machined axel with 14mm thread and 16mm eye bearings.The internal hole in my axel doesnt match bearing sizes.Then also i needed tapered pacers as each side was different with 15.5mm hole one side and 21mm the other.At least you can remake spacers but its hard to remake the wheel if you remove a mm from the bearing hole

They have never not been able to get me a bearing. Sometimes it has taken a week or so, but normally it is available the next day if it isn't in stock at the local branch.

I suspect that BDOTGNZA will be concerned at the double negative.

What they forgot to say was that there is a formula for calculating the price of bearings.
Take the one you are looking for, seeing as it is hard to find you count the number of balls in the race, 7 in this case
Now take the price of the closest bearing that they have on the shelf $9.00 and multiply it by the balls in the race 7 so it will be $63.00
10% discount to make it feel like you were enjoying being screwed. So that is 56.70 sir

yeah fuck I hate Saeco now, been buying bearings from them for 20years at least & in the last couple of years the prices have gone sonic. Just so they can give trade 45% off & big customers 65% off or some such nonsense, _ all they did was put the price up, just I'm the dumb cunt who gets charged $18 for what was an $8 bearing 6 years ago.

Bay Engineering Supplies in East Tamaki is who I have been going to recently, and have always had good service.

Which reminds me that my front wheel bearings had a bit of play in them at the 2hr, must get onto that.
