Had the weather not intervened and plan A had gone ahead, I would currently be sitting on the side of the Desert Road feeling very sorry for myself. Instead I am at home after a brief ride in a tow truck, staring out the window at my baby who is happily intact but has a rooted clutch. Lucky I was pootling along doing chores when it happened and not mid-corner or mid-middleofnowhere.

Pooh sticks. So I shan't be riding anywhere this weekend. I will be walking. Around and around with you lot. Mom am I added to the list yet? Time to arm-twist some more money out of my so called friends.

Scott, I'll still be seeing you at about 11:30am tomorrow and now you don't even have to drive!

Oh, and well done on the donations so far you bloody legends.

I wasn't able to load you up last night, they have locked teams until the day. You will be registered though on Saturday and we will get your name up there for donations next week.

Methane-aw that sux the kumara fulla, least ya didn't get caught by the impending weather bomb. Perhaps divine intervention...but totally know how a FUBR'd clutch is total balls, i got caught out on SH 25 mid of FNwzWhr but luckily with cell reception and AA plus. Not fun at all. Hello you lovely peoples.

How frustrating to not be certain this is going ahead as planned.

At this stage I am going with meeting at Millenium Stadium at 12 midday tomorrow.

I will post up here with Plan B or C tomorrow at around 10 am once I know what the Cancer Society are planning to do.

Be prepared to be there at 6am on Sunday morning. For those north or south a night here will be available if that is the story, I WONT be staying up all night if that is what happens. I also wont be catering for all of you, so plan to pitch in for a feed if you plan to stay here the night. I dont mind cooking something.

For now, plan on being there all night. And plan to stay up all night too

There will be a tent set up to store gear in, that you can crash in if you get desperate.

Bring warm clothes and wet weather gear. Have a hat or lots of hair. Have some comfey shoes to walk in.

Plan for sunshine and lots of it

Bring water/juice/beer/booze to drink.

Bring some food or money to buy some.

Plan on having one of the MOST amazing times of your life.

We need someone with internet access please, cameras are a must.

Let me know if there is anything you need me to do/bring etc.

Bring any money you have not managed to bank along with any deposit recepits and donation sheets.

For those registered we get a feed for breakfast

We need to bring utensils and plates and the like. I have a few plastic things I will bring, the stupid market is not far away if we dont have enough or we can simply lick the plates clean and pass along

If we start Sunday morning we will start with a cooked breakfast then walk
