A more accurate description would be that was his old bike, the new bike just has a few of the same parts...

This is true, it's using my original loom (somewhat chopped) and one of the switch blocks.

I'm trying not to make it look too fighter esque, none of that pointed up tail and big fat bars crap for me. Trying to make a sort of new cafe racer looking thing, hence the single seat and low bars.

You're doing yourself proud so far, Headlight fits quite well where you have it, not a fan of belly pans, but thats just me

    Thanks mate.
I've never been a huge fan of them, but I'll try get this to work. It currently looks too low to me, but any higher and it'll be eating the exhaust

The mighty Krookasfaki is happily in its new home, lots more room, lighting and I can use all the tools I previously could.

Sadly I got a scrape on the tank during transport but it's only to the paint and it's just base coat anyway.

Can't wait to get in to the beast with most of the tools I need!
Will aim to get the loom, headlight, belly pan and base coat done this coming week.

I think my lower brake lines are too short to reach the callipers from the splitter, I could make a bracket and re-mount the splitter as the top line has a bit of room to play with.

My father is hopefully going to scrape up some aluminium strips so I can make headlight mounts.

I polished my spare waterpump yesterday and then decided it looked dumb

Base coat on the belly pan, still needs plastic welding, but I haven't managed to grab the soldering iron

mean! try top clamp matt/satin white. how are you painting - u have a compressor and gun?

hard to do the callipers? I dont have a compressor, used to use the air line to blow the pistons out when pulln the callipers apart but havent got one down here.

might need to invest.. one day $$

Just use VHT for the brakes, I give 'em lots of clear so it won't get fucked instantly when cleaned. They're going to get pretty dirty.
Have a small compressor here (I mean small) but it's better than nothing

I think I'll stay with the white for the body work, for some reason it just looks nice and sharp.

Got some runs as you can see at the front of the tank and the paint is not smooth enough.
Acrylic lacquer next time, but enamel was worth a shot.

Any thoughts on the belly pan?
I'm now thinking, it's yet again begging for slash cut mufflers off the back of the headers...

I like the bellypan, brings the bike lower to the ground and gives it a bit more shape/bulk.

Man I want my forks gold.. hah - lookin for someone to anodize in dunners. got the forks out and ready to go.

oh well, back to polishing my wheels.. its soo slow
