Thats cool. Wonder how many times you will get asked what it is or get told somebodys mate has one just like it.
looks okay, with a bit of tweaking it could suit it really well
yea I recon def go with some black pinstriping if you going solid white color. will be nice. with the black n silver rims and shit will look mint
I had a GF like that
Shit, that could look quite neat!
I do love how sharp the white is though![]()
Lights all wired in.
Having a problem with my indicator warning light, but I will get the wiring diagram out and re-wire it.
Flattened the paint a bit with some 1000grit today, then I lost my sheet of 2000 gritlooks okay though.
I have managed to misplace the wax though, so the shiny stage will have to wait lol
Went a bit silly with the autosol, frame and swinger look choice again.
don't like the copper myself..
actually looks brown but im color blind
I liked white so much i've secretly been planning inverting my aprilia from black to white, but keeping all the same graphics n stuff on it.. just having it like a pearl white/satin finish..
mmmm
go white bro. white is right. with black pinstriping and black detailing it will look mint packaged up
Done, yea I had decided already last night its what I wanted... gotta find the right white that I have pictured aye, its like a real satin/silky white.. looks good when i imagine it haha..
and again gotta find a way to get replacement decals for the bike.. biggest drag..
your bike must be nearing completion bro? u be riding soon..
I quite like it when detailing like pin-striping or decals is done in very close shade of the paints colour. For example, I've considered some grey pin strips on my "neutron silver" Connie.
So maybe if you're going for the white paint (which I reckon does look great) you could do those strips in something pretty close to white???
contrast contrast contrast! cha cha cha![]()
Not sure if you have any Maori in you (tho that should not be a show stopper), but I can see this one with some black Maori Tribal paintwork. Not the type that fills the whole canvas but some tasty that enhances the bike and does not take over. So keep her white and add black. And please... loose that muffler! It belongs on a stove!
No Maori in me mate, pure Scots/mongrel (Norse, French, every-fuckin-thing-evil)
Muffler is going shortlyGot a nice Moriwaki can off Bogan, will be on the RHS and higher mounted, then POLISHED!!!!! as you expect with my bikes
I do like pin striping like that, but I don't think I can think of anything simple that hasn't been done before
Quite a fan of this
The only big things left on the list are:
Exhaust chopped/shut in to 4-1 and the new pipe mounted.
Fork rebuild.
Other than that it's minor stuff, fluids (can't put oil in 'till I do the 'zorst, oil cooler has to be removed to get the headers off) jetting again for the 4-1 and ignition advance.
Brake fluid/seals might help...
Random wiring gremlins hiding in my loom
I am having a hard time deciding, I love the pin stripe idea, but I think a metallic grey would look nice.
Problem is, everything on the bike (in my mind...) flows and matches.
Polished bits, black frame accents, black rim centers, white detailing and of course the white paint. I think adding another colour may break that up?
Will do some more MS paint awesomeness lol
Which reminds me, the frok bottoms are silver, this displeases me. Black won't look right, polished will look retarded there, I don't like them silver. It's pissing me off.
I lubs me some contrast
Got some mega shit pics tonight of some autosol magic and LED tail light winning
If it's fine in the morrow I shall get sexy pictures![]()
No, not pin striping. Airbrushing! HERE some ideas.
Re the fork bottoms: Only two options:
1. Gold
2. White
