I've just noticed an oil? grease? leakage at the throttle grip??

can I just get away with wiping it off or should I find the source of the leak? I didn't even know there were any grease used in there..

I have a cramp buster installed... could this cramp buster cause the grease to squeeze out??

What the heck is it!?!??? anybody know??

Undo the screw on the bar end weights, and pull off the bar end. Take a photo of that and put it up.

It seems that your throttle fluid has escaped,
Rest in peace Tony - you will be missed.

the K Y gell is not recommended to be used by your right hand in this application!

Its just lubrication to stop the shaft getting sticky.

    Nothing to worry about .

    unless??
You will have to get what's called a Throttle balloon, it fits into the bar and pumps fluid throughout the bar into the throttle. You can pick one up from Repco for about $15? Then just a matter of getting some Motul Thottle Fluid from Red Baron etc... and filling it up. You may want to change the gasket as well.
Rest in peace Tony - you will be missed.

    I'd be inclined to agree

Looks like a bit of lube, that has been pigmented by the plasticized rubber grip. If the buster is a new addition to the hand grip, that might causing it to squeeze out.

If you have a bit of money... my solution would be buy some different grips and chuck them on P

Otherwise, wipe it off and monitor it over time
