Such a very sad way to start the Winter Series for all of us who were there on Saturday, Marks Wife Janice, Family, friends, VMCC Members and officials, Marshalls and fellow Racers.
It sure was a tough weekend for all of us and the strength of Marks wife and family of wanting us to continue on with the Racing on Sunday as thats what Mark would have wanted was truely Inspirational.
He touched so many of our hearts with his attitude to life and what he had been through and was a true Gentleman and all round nice guy to know and to be friends with both on and off the track.
He sure gave back to society what they had given to him and he lost his life far too soon which is so hard to except.
Mark may you have many Fantastic Rides in the skies above us and #67 will live on with all of us Forever.
It was a real pleasure to have known you and the memories l have of you l will cheerish forever.
RIP My Friend, Forever in our Hearts.
Gone BUT NEVER Forgotten.
You Lived Life to the Fulliest.
Thoughts & Big Hugs to Marks truely amazing wife Janice, Family, Friends and the VMCC.
Cheers Skippy #27.
Speaking of photos, where would we find the shots from the photographers that were there?
Yeah, have those...more after the shots from sunday.
P.S, Burgler.
Indeed, her strength is amazing. Like many I will miss this Guernseymans very pleasant demeanour, even though I had little time to fully appreciate it. What seriously irks me is that all three recent fatalities( and three is three too many ) happened to genuinely nice guys.
Shoots.....reading through this thread really makes you wonder how life works....a few pages ago Mark was just here like yesterday. Now he watches over with his big hearty laugh as we ponder the moments our lives crossed paths. Mark, you were an inspiration, and someone who cared and gave a dam. Yes....always the good ones. Ride free now and RIP brave sole.xx
Best place to stay in Hawkes Bay here
Nearly all men can stand adversity and hard time, but if you want to test a mans true character, give him power....

I've met many people over the years with many different reasons to hit the track. I've followed Marks written words of his journey through life and he has explained how life can work more than most.
There's an old saying "Make the most of life before the most of life has gone" Mark showed us how to do that, and we shared his journey.
Despite the end result those who knew and followed Mark Brehaut are all richer for that journey.
RIP mate
I would like to go down for Mark's funeral. Is anyone from HB going? I would love to grab a ride. Happy to share costs and driving. I am flexible on leaving times etc and have options for accommodation if necessary.

If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...

I have just started a thread in Meetings / Events regarding Marks Funeral and ride details also it would be a good place to leave thoughts, messages etc . if a mod could shift existing messages to there and even shift the thread if its in the wrong place. Hope to see alot of you on Friday. Ken
Wouldn't be racing if it wasn't for:MotoMart, Pirelli, EBC Brakes, Ripecoffee.co.nz, Slotmedia.co.nz, Totalbodyshop.co.nz and Wurth
