    Mine is 6 years and still going strong
    in fact the first frame is now being raced by the grandchild of the first owner Three generations 1 bike 2 engines. That beats 3 mins any time
    and it's probably had miore crashes that you GP winning copy

    it was built just to copy morlys bike apart from the water cooled engine which is coming out and the air cooled copy is going in . only raced it once around 12 years ago and did win 50% of mine races on it and crashed it twice that day lol

    well I managed to win 2 races once
    crashed more times than I care to remember
    and now need to get back to it as it seams like 12 years since I last rode it

    sometimes crazy man crashed so many times in a day even he couldnt record how many times for that day!! my best is twice in a day

    Picture of my bucket bike i use to race 18 years ago, had the skills to rebuild it everytime i crashed it just not the skills to ride it succrssfully. Sold it and switched to sidecar, found the bike about a month ago in a musem still the same as in the picture and my riding skills are still about the same, except my hair is now white andf i weigh another 20kg. Hoping to buy it back and have a young guy to race it, might put him on the one i brought from Lewis first though.Click image for larger version.

    Looks like the poll sesvwe are all self-declared muppets mostly at the mo............. Of course this confirms that Bucket racers have the rare inner skill of being able to laugh at oneself. (a skill not always appaent in other forms of motorsport) :-)
