A carb and an exhaust .... looks to me like a $1200 bike, but hey good luck mate!

This one has similiar specs and is half the price with some spares ... http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-486589087.htm

    Top 3 costs are:
    1. Bike
    2. Wheels + Disc's + rear cush drive
    3. Getting the spacers machined up. Im no engineer so its going to cost to get it done right.

If you look at the cost of a bike, plus what has been added and done to the bike, it adds up before you know it. It wouldnt be for sale if we were still racing locally.

2k sounds alright, its a bargain if you are just starting out, if you buy a 500 dolla shitter and spend 500 then sell it for 500 you will be wishing you had just coughed the bit extra for the fxr. save yourself the heartache get the fxr.

    cheap fxr 1200, wheels etc 500, zorst 150, seat 150, tyres 150

shorty isnt getting rich on this one

35ponies and your young and light. I can only wish to have your numbers.
I need big forks and shocks for my fat old arse and to stop my 40s love handlers from sending me around the track like a wee wibbles wobble that wont fall down.

$2k is a fair price for a rare ready fxr like that. Not easy to build for less now.

I have to agree, the only reason I didn't buy a $2K FXR was getting the $$$ passed fun control, so I have spent nearly that much building the RGV/FXR but just not all in one go.....hee hee :0)

Might bid on it myself, would make a cheap back up bike. Few mods like cams, porting, brake lines, decent slicks - hmm not sounding so cheap any more when you could buy my fully sorted FXR for $2k

Didn't you use that to push the front of the field at Kaitoke last time you were here? Came ok in NI series yeah?

Still wouldn't pay $2k as its a horrible foul stroke, - though some people aren't as discerning.

Cheap ( very ) Ladies leathers wanted

I am after a pair of leathers to fit lady 5'10 and thin as a stick, these will most likely only get used 2 or 3 times so i don't want to spend a fortune. Thanks
