Word on the street is...''no one owns water''...
    Things is...actually they do.
People buy water in bottles from shops.
Some parts of the country pay water rates.
So somebody is making money from water..

Hydro power companies pay for "Water rights" ... that means the "right" to use that water stored in the lakes behind the dams.

Now if I could only remember who they pay the money to ...

well it WILL go to America ....Not NZ

stand back and watch those bills go through the roof ,,, no no sorry nice man on National told me it would be cheaper !

On a lighter note I emailed Jim Mora in the afternoon , I often do , Asked about the IMF and the water ,( Which has been clearly stated AND done before in Bolivia .......)

Just raise the issue I said , so he replies , claiming ignorance, Then ignores the issue , So I point him in the direction of some noteable NZ ( Jane Kelsey ) ..oh I understand now ...says he

well go on raise the issue , this isnt a Maori party , National party thing says I ,,,,....... nope still an inter party issue as was his program ....

I think , someone has been "told "

( I mean even if I am completely wrong , WHY are there so many "noteable " people /groups saying the same thing , on his program THAT day there was a feature about people dropping out FOR the same reasons I said )

    No balls

I was thinking about that my self. if no one owns water, then what is stopping me from going to my local shop and drink the bottled water without paying for it? As long as I drank it there and left the bottle, then technically I have not stolen anything as the water is not owned by anyone so I can not be prosecuted for stealing something that bellongs to all of us

    Weird......
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

Technically you are paying for the filtering. bottling and transportation. You have to be stupid to buy bottled water in NZ anyway but thats another topic.

No one in NZ pays for water, they pay for all the associated costs of being supplied that water.

Ha! We are talking to Vodafone at the moment about broadband & phone lines for 3 properties / businesses. I'm very interested to see what they come up with.

i had a storeage unit, storing an old car for a while and sometimes when I went in there, there was this guy with a unit full of couple dozen office water cooler bottles, filling em up with the garden hose.

said he made a neat little pay packet charging them for the water hehe
