    Magnum boots?

Anyone heard of this brand? I have been offered them to supply and would like to know if anyone has experience with this brand. They are made for military, paramedic and rescue services and are supposed to be about the best you can get.

Yup they're very comfortable boots to wear, it's almost like wearing running shoes but with ankle support.

We get them as our work boot in the prison service, comfortable to wear, but do not breath well in hot weather, and absorb the cold and dampness if used in wet conditions. Be prepared for smelly feet and damp socks.

The soles do not split like our previous boots do. Wearing down of the heel and tread has not been an issue yet. Original laces do not stayed tied for long.

I can get the Stealth range plus the Fire Shield pair. They are new and breathable with two models water-proof and two with non steel safety caps.

Priced from $335 to $445 they are all the latest designs and address your issues. They look pretty impressive!

I have a pair of the Stealth boots with the side zip and they've done really well (had them just over three years now). Hold up well in the wet and are very light. Wear them daily for work.

They are awesome. I am looking at this pair or this pair which are unfortunately only available in desert camo as they were designed for spec ops in Afganistan. They are supposed to be really good boots, however I thought that they were already tied up with a NZ distributor?
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

Good to hear. They aren't cheap but if they are super comfortable and last they look like great value. A mate who works on concrete all day as an Aluminium fabricator bought an expensive pair of boots that have split a sole after 12months and is not happy. He has asked about the Magnum's.

I have been offered the Stealth range by the NZ distributor. My market is a bit different from theirs.

The Stealth Force 8.0 Waterproof seems to be a decent boot.

That's my pick as likely the most popular along with the Fire Shield

Kiwidisposals on K'Road have a fair few of them. I quite liked the fit of the Steal 8.0 Waterproofs but have yet to commit the cash, wanting to replace my old hiking boots that are falling to bits.

They used to be standard issue for the Air Force. Not those particular models, but still Magnums. Very good boots, so comfy and pretty tough. When I left the RNZAF i missed my boots so much, I just bought some Interceptor Sidezip Waterproofs from Rebel sport a few months ago

Never worn them myself but many of my soldier mates do and say that they are "sandshoe comfortable" but not as good in the bush as the more robuse ones. For a while they were standard issue to Army, probably because so many soldiers were buying their own and also as an alternative boot issued for foot-related medical reasons.

I'd be keen once my current pair fuck out.
