It's a Honda Jim, but not as we know it...

Sold this guy a battery and he promised to bring it around once he got it back on the road...

1990 NSX that has had a bucket load of coin spent on it to make it lighter and faster around the track. He reckons he's lightened it by about 100kg using Carbon Fibre and Titanium and the battery saved about 10kg on its own. He's been running it around for a few weeks now while he irons out some refinements but says the Shorai battery is performing perfectly!

He's tweaked the 3lt V6 but keeping it streetable using readily available Honda bits and pieces. The list is long of his modifications, but suffice to say it sounds incredible through the Titanium exhaust!

Funny thing is I've never seen or even heard of hairdressers gay or straight driving either car. That's the trouble with prejudice, rarely based on reality...

That's the smallest cost. I can't tell you what he's spent on this one but it would make a good house deposit...

Certainly a great car in its time but many wondered why it didn't have a larger V10 more in line with the F1 Honda engines of the day, but they made it so the little old lady from Pasadena could potter down Colorado Blvd in it no sweat.

Funny how a 201kw engine these days is so last year, but that was when the hot Holden 5 litre V8 was a 185kw unit.

Now 300+ kw is the norm for such cars.
    Cheers

Where do groceries go? If you have a bike for fun and a car that cant carry groceries does that mean you need a car that does also.

The really impressive bit is watching them clean up more powerful cars on the track. They were extensively modified by tuners of course!

The best part about the NSX power figures is they didn't lie, I have seen results on one with over 200k on the clock pulling 185kw at the wheels, unmodified take in to account that it's fairly torquey, has pefect ratios and is a genuine 1200kg, it's still a fast car now a 3.2 could almost hold a 360 Modena in a drag race
