    Fantastic result!
Jake was penalised 20sec for jumping the start!!
So looks like he might have been around 20th otherwise.
His best laptiime was the same as the bloke in 20th and not so far off the blokes in 16th - 18th and significantly better than 21 and 23 and he went faster than qualifying time.
It seems also that they are no longer doing the EJC. The Kiwi Rouble only goes so far eh?
But that is the name of the game isn't it?
Get into the shop window with pretty enough make-up and hopefully someone will come along and buy your services.
Looks like perfect outcome to me.

haha, yeah, I meant to say: You go to Europe to do EJC, which puts you in the shop window.
You do well, put out feelers and get offered a ride in UEM SSTK600.
Next step from there is SSTK1000 or SS600 then WSBK, who knows eh?
That is how it works these days, so seems like it has worked perfectly. Might not have been the actual plan at the start, but good on them.

Now to get Tyler up to Europe for Rookies Cup selection.
Donations for travel funding gladly accepted by Jason...... ;-)

Wayne told me that he was a lap down, but the result sheet doesn't suggest that.

Oh, umm, yes it does. Sorry about that. His total time was less than 14th place, so he must have been a lap down.

    Sorry, 'bout that. Cheers Wayne!

But in any case at all, Awesome result. Lots didn't finish at all.

That'll explain it. I got the impression he was doing better than 15th.
