funny when people have no idea that it goes all quite, but ya ask for clues and ya get hassled, and when ya give clues like I did ie: the highway name and the view from the tag... no comments LOL, so spill Jackal or the tag will die... is it between the old tag and your lake?
Yes, if you take the 'Gorge' route. Also your old tag and the new one are somewhat related...........according to cruza..............

Bit cool but nice day to find a tag

So with the help of the hint, had a nice ride to Mt Hutt Station and found the said shelter. Met another rider on a nice shiny Harley just down the road from there before I got to the tag and had a chat. But not a KB member so whew.

New tag is an interesting building out there somewhere. Probably a house but lots of vehicles around it but no sign up on the road to make it look like a commercial building. Surrounded by dairy farms. More hints to follow (after a few days if needed).

    Have fun.

Yep re-reg'd the 1200 today so needed to make the most of it. Used the MR27 form and set the end date as 4Mar2013 ie the day after the March Hare. Got a trip up to Rotorua planned for the first weeks of October so its all go now that its Spring.

The fence around the house is called a "Ha Ha" (seriously) ... keeps stock away from the house without fences being seen from inside the house. (and ruin the view)

Just for the record - Coaltrack Rd about 3km off SH1 (all sealed from that direction).

you can share a tag ya know....then you can have another beer while you decide who is gonna post up the new one

    FFS.

Stopped today to pick up the tag at mt hutt station, and then stopped at the new tag. Thought to myself it would be good, but already had one lined up so took a pic of the monument for answer to the southern escapade question but not one with the bike in it
