There was plenty of light and I was confident that if there were any mountain bikers on the track at 10pm at night I would be able to get them in the shot too

well you a clever boy.I been scouring likeley spots all night,i well and truly oover it.Its looks so familiar yet i just cant find it.I hate this game sometimes!

If I'm correct, it's pretty far out the way and only accessible by walking or bike? And wont be on google maps.

I think you must have the wrong spot, it is about 10m off the road and is a car park (not a well maintained car-park but it is still a car-park),while you can not replicate the shot in Street view you can clearly see the spot I parked my bike in Street view & Sat view.

Yes, I do think sometimes that that suburb of Wellington is out of my way

i must have a closer look,i am sure it can only be one place.....but i coiuld not see that concrete structure or the painted lines
