If only they add that video option like Wheedle... That was at least something new over TradeMe.

TM did let you post youtube video links though.

I didnt try the wheedle video thing to know what you're referencing, but I did see the box to put a Y2b vid

Basically the video linked shows up in your listing, without you going out of the site, which is good because it keeps you within the site rather than going off somewhere else. A more seamless and integrated experience, that function worked well but pity other areas didn't...

Im going to try the new site to sell the next project.
Im sick of paying 49 to list a dollar reserve bike that gets anywhere from 500 to 1k then pay more when sold 7 days later.

I think tardme opened the door with high prices and if they loose out they can blame themselves.

You cant. Wheedle has crashed and burned.

    Go to Sella.

I think we should all agree to use Sella from now on. I've moved 15 items to Sella tonight. More once some of my TM ones close.

Yeah ill buy from tardme still but im not keen on selling a low value vehicle at 49 list price.
Ill keep my MT listing going seeing as its not a auction and I have paid to sell it already.

Edit paid 39 each for the last 2 cheap bikes but 15 after sale also.
    59 to list the MT01

Agreed, gonna use Sella more from now on. But traffic seems very low there...

Thats because only serious buyers are searching on it at this stage. The time wasters are still amused on tardme.

Was in todays DomPost, and on Stuff: http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/indu...chnology-fails

They do seem to have used some junior developers. All that time and money.

    Oh the irony...

The online trading platform, which aims to provide a cheaper, New Zealand-owned alternative to Fairfax-controlled Trade Me, has been bankrolled by Mainfreight co-founder Neil Graham.

I thought I'd give it another go now again as well. Gotta admit, it is sorted nicely.

When Wheedle sort themselves I'll give them a crack as well.

Got more than 40 things listed on there now, and using it as primary sales point off website until funds are more fluid and previous shop host sorts their shit out or disables the mandatory google store checkout.

You have hit the nail on the head.

The site that breaks TradeMe may be more of a "portal" than an actual site.

So you login to "alltrade.com", and it accesses your membership or creates you one if you don't have one, at trademe, ebay, sella, wheedle etc.

So if you are looking to buy a motorcycle, it displays listings from ALL the sites you are subscribed to.

You can bid without every leaving the portal site, indeed if it were well done, after a while you wont even care if it was originally a TM or sella listing..

The cunning bit is when you list an item. Its listed and hosted at "alltrade.com".

    Job done.

Opps Bogan was onto it before me !
