Looking after a little dog, not quite what I expected

Sister in law had to head away urgently so asked us to look after her rat

Not my thing little dogs but thought what the hell will give Sam (Border Collie) something to play with for 5 minutes,Wrong...the thing never stopped all day,fiesty as hell and gets my respect.Methinks Sams glad the little pricks gone home hes Knackered

At times all the big guy could do was flop on top of the rat just to get a rest.

Little guy gets the win for the day.

Ha ha,,,yeah looked after me mums Australian Terrier once.

Little shit would get all wound up an bite ya' ankles..do a few spins an come back for another taste.

Bit like that eh,little pricks given me a whole new respect for small dogs,Mrs is coming out with hints re getting one of her own

My mini foxy has the heart of a lion and reckons he is 6 feet tall, even tried to take on an uncut male mastiff the other day cos it was sniffing my female sharpei

Had to rescue Don Quichote before he was made bite size brunch by the mastiff!

But yes, small dogs have heart and sometimes more spirit than you can shake a Donky Kong at.

They just have too much energy, I can't stand little yappy bouncy dogs, give me a mellow old lab any day.

We've recently got a doglet at home, tis very funny when it runs to the front door barking when someone comes in, I guess it thinks it's scary.

As you said it has energy to burn, spends ages trying to play with our cat who at 14 years old is totally disinterested in the annoying little dog, bloody entertaining to watch and we're waiting to see what happens when the cat actually connects with one of her swings.

I love me a feisty mini pooch, not keen on handbag dogs, though. I always thought the wee fluffs were bolshy, snappy menaces to fingers but two Lhasa Apso's locally love to play WWF with my 25kg Bull Terrier and they are fantastic.

If anybody wants a pocket terror look at Patterdales, built like minature Staffies & more go than the energiser bunny. Never a dull moment and an end to rat traps.

Yep foxies...I love em!!!! My little guy is a farken classic foxy! he lined up a German shep the other week and got pissed off when I picked him up and walked off with him as he was being "the man" and being staunch !
Great dogs, I wouldn't have any thing else (but you need patience as they are like they are a hayabusa on steroids!)
