    WebJet question

Has anyone dealt with WebJet for travel within NZ?
I tried to book a flight from Auckland to Wanganui for next Jan. and they have asked for copies of my USA credit card used to pay for the flight and passport or drivers license. I have booked numerous flights on the internet and this is the first time I have come across this sort of request.
Anyone had similar experiences or anyother WebJet advice would be apperciated.
    Cheers in advance.

Your are using the NZ website and not the US one right?

When booking an International ticket you always need to put the passport number in and if you are using the us site then that's why.
Also they need to check who the person flying is.

It's good to see the flagging system is working to keep the undesirables out.

    Wanganui?

They only let undesirables in, everyone else best get out, stay out.

The system seems to be working, take the hint and go elsewhere.

Using the Webjet.co.nz site. I will already be in NZ at the time of the booking so no PP needed as it is purely domestic travel, plus I am a Kiwi anyway. They are saying it is for their security purposes. I reciently booked the flight for me and her indoors from the states to Auckland ($4200USD) on line with the same CC and no questions asked.

Webjet got Mrs H and me to and from Australia recently, no worries, and one-way to Christchurch yesterday without problem or angst.

I was looking at webjet site for domestic flights - ALL flights on there incur their 'finders fee' - I simply found the cheapest on there then went to the actual website for the Airline and booked through them (at the cheaper price without webjet's fee).

I find the site pretty useful to compare times & prices, but I then just go to the Airline & book there.
