I can relate to that to a certain extent. I am not what you would call built, or ripped. In fact, skinny and petite have always been the monotone description throughout my life.

However, I was always capable of lifting heavy things easily. One summer, I went haybaling up North, and matched the boys bales after bales all day. Or carrying a bag of 40kg concrete powder on my shoulder (while wearing high heels) and running a circuit in my in laws' backyard, covering over 200 metres ( don't ask).

No skitting, just facts.

Size is not always what it's about. But little boys don't get that, do they?

), I've turned to face has backed down for some reason. This always after repeated attempts to provoke me, some over many months of trying. I don't play by their rules, I think that bothers them.

Valid point. Keeping your opponent as far from you as possible (especially when you're small) is invaluable. You better be bloody good with it though, cos if the other guy grabs a hold of you and the stick is your only means of defence

...the thing is not to be defensive with it...sticking it in the opponents eye while they think you are wanking about with a stick is generally game over...a short heavy stick can be effective too...but as all combatants have been taught down through the centuries, 'the point will always beat the blade'...running like hell is a sure way of not being hit also...
