Old cars? - I love 'em all, our 'newest' car is the Olds - '83.

First half the of the fun is keeping them running, the second half is using them regularly, the third half is picking which one to use - too many halves? - too much fun!

Oh, and I love driving ALL of them!

Just like our bikes - they're all fun in their own way, brand/size matters less to me than those that criticise them.

I'm thinking of selling the cage for something old and small... like maybe another Morrie. Not quite up to the standard of this thread.

462 CID big block Chev sucking through 8 Webers, that thing shot smoke out the velocity stacks and fire out of the 8 into 2 exhaust system. We started it in a shed, broke a window and set off an alarm in the next building.
Thing was so batshit insane it lit up the rear wheels at every downshift and it ate the transmission at the track.

I have never had so much fun in my life.

Must be something wrong with me. I look at function over form every time. Having said that I look after a property with a V12 Mercedes Brabus SL500 sat in the shed. Can't go anywhere, it's at the end of 30k's of spoiler shattering gravel and the owner is rarely here for more than a month a year. I do get to start it now & again. The car tries to rotate round the engine when you blip the throttle. It's quite a spine tingling experience. And the noise.....

I have always like mopars but, all old muscle cars are interesting to look at. Then got a couple bikes and said fuk this, I can go twice as fast. I got one Dodge RT and a ford pinto with a 428 stuffed in it sitting in the garage for the past 10 years. I want to ship the RT over here and get rid of the pinto once I get my residency and start a project for the weekends.

Pah! Road cars. Who cares what the daily driver is.
    As for your Ariel Atom...

And don't tell me you can't take them on the road

Yep, I'll vote for a Cobra. Gorgeous looking things. Unfortunately even the replicas cost shitloads

Fuck yeah, that looks like awesome fun willy. Although I would never drive like that on public roads.

Gee I was just happy to be riding my bike on a nice day.

Didn't expect this to turn into a car thread.

I've been in 'performance cars' & whatnot but never really floated my boat (no interest in boating either).

I don't road ride as much as I'd like living 8 min from work you'd be home before your gear was on (as I'm finding this week while the van is being worked on). But when I do get out it is elation. Sitting in a stream of cars in another car is, well Boring.

The Van, now that's what a 4 wheeler should be like. I can get my race bikes, tools & gear & transport them to a track, even sleep the night in it if needs be. Weekend after can be the dirtbikes, gives you a place to change if its wet & you can leave it parked up outside a cafe with your gear inside.

Why the hell would I bother owning a car?
Don't you look at my accountant.

Interesting thread, IMHO I love both, I have 5 cars and 1 bike, and love them all, each one has its special place.

I have my trusty Subby B4 for long journeys and towing and my track ready MR2;s for track days and just fun drives and I love the bike as well.

its not that I am not passionate about Bikes, I am but I like each one for its purpose and I enjoy them all.

I am much the same, I enjoy most things with a motor. I like going fast down a good road on my road bike, I like getting dirty on my dirt bike, I like driving over things in my 4x4, and I like driving a car too, fast or slow.
