Still got it too! Must dig that out someday.

I think the Porsche thing is that the old ones don't try and be something they are not. They are awkward, they do have unbalanced handling. But the sound... and the shape...
    Yeah, nah.

They sure sound sweet. Dont know why I dont like Porsche's, they have never appealed to me for some reason. If someone threw me the keys, I would take them for sure.

    I like Limousines.
    I like Limousines.
There's nine hundred million of them in the world today.
You'd better learn to like them; that's what I say.

    I like Limousines.
    I like Limousines.
They come from a long way overseas,
They're spacious and roomy, and they're ready to please.

See, they didn't make many of them, about 25% of original Mustangs had the six, and 25% of those had manual boxes. I reckon most of the original six cylinder manual box Mustangs have also been converted with V8s and autos being dropped into them - so there wouldn't be many left in their original configuration.

I'd be driving something pretty rare. Well driving it only when I wasn't riding my bike.
My dad brought one of this Ponies home one day back in the late '70's ( when I lived in the states) It was the first car I ever drove, its was heaps of fun and got looks everywhere it went, it was a disgusting turquoises green though great car till it rusted to shit in a matter of years.

I have had my share of yank muscle cars, 68 fastback, 68 Charger, 69 Malibu SS, 71 split bumper Z28, great cars in a straight line

Owners can also send their Mustangs there for a Shelby upgrade.

Saw a GT500 Super Snake last week... argh, the noise
Sad thing is what most 'see' as a Cobra is a pale imitation of the real thing.
The 427 was a 'production' street car and is DETUNED from the SC/C spec cars, the SC or Semi/Street Competition and 427C (full comp) depending on the type of racing are anything from 500 to 600+bhp with around 500ft lbs of torque. Anything from 160 to 180mph+ top speed and anywhere from 4.5 down to 3.4 seconds 0-60mph and 10-12 second 0-100-0 mph times.
Not too shabby for a 50yr old car.....

I was fortunate enough to passenger in a genuine 427 (which have about 4-450bhp) at the Brighton speed trials many years ago.. They will spin the wheels in any gear, even from standing start,,,, AND OMG the NOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIISE

If you must know this car with the plate surround had a licence plate '65 pony' & on the side was an emblem of a Horse with two roman IIs. I recognised it from an ex's keyring which was supposedly a Mustang ornamnent.

Sure looked like a boring place to be sitting on a beautiful hot day.

You aren't the only one. I like stuff out of the ordinary. A Tatra would be ice cool cruising around here! Hate to think how much you'd have to pay for one in good nick though!

I've owned 15 mr2s I haven't driven my mkII V6 for 2 years, should go downstairs now and drag her out now.

A few weeks ago I completed this.

It's a big turbo to, not a little baby t25 or something. So am I doing the whole not boring car thing right? I need to get the rambler with the 327ci going to tow it with so I can be more of a wanker in the eyes of environmentalists everywhere.

And 0 to 100mph and back to 0 in less than 13 seconds.

Try that in any modern 2-wheel drive car....
