Raincliff Camp all booked and deposit paid. Permission granted to have alcohol present on a BYO basis. Cost is $32 per person for the weekend (wheather you stay one night or two) Mr & Mrs Shreak are staying there sometime soon so will hopefully supply us with a 'suitability report'. Roll on December!

[QUOTE=neels;1130333763]I read it as $32 per adult per night, which seems rather reasonable to me.

If you want 2 nights, Fri & Sat, $32 per whole weekend,

The lady said they have recently had a group of "mature" bikers use the centre. That sounds like us, "mature", well most of us anyway!!!!!! The way I read it, all we have to do is gain written permission from the trust committee to have alcohol there and it will cost you $15 a night. The $750 mentioned is just for functions like weddings. So no one is to get married that weekend, OK. Unless anyone can see a reason not to go there in 2013, I will make a firm booking and get them to send out a booking info pack.
I will have to own up as the organiser of "the mature" bikers who used Raincliff in April last year. I booked it for about 40 of us..... and a real mixture of ages.

It is a fantastic venue....massive kitchen & prep area, walk-in cool store, BBQ, it sleeps over 70, lots of showers, toilets bunk rooms.

Great quiet location, & xlnt roads nearby, very centally located between Geraldine, Pleasant Point & Fairlie....for food & drink supplies.

Let me know if you need any info etc as I'm happy to help!

Otherwise will book in and see you all there.

sounds like a plan, each person toss in a few gold coins, and it could happen

while we stayed in the Scout camp (lots of showers, toilets bunk rooms.) same as the youth camp next door, (which is lots bigger) both have all the gear the girls need in the kitchen ie: stove, fridge (a flash walk in) plenty of bench space along with pots pans etc...

it's a great spot with lotsa space, & great riding for all cya December

Just to let you all know that the Raincliff Camp has been booked for Friday 13th (BLACK FRIDAY!) and Saturday 14th. This I thought was the second weekend of December. Well, it is the second FULL weekend in December, the 1st being a Sunday. Sorry if this has caused any confusion but I am afraid these dates are now locked in. It has just been bought to my attention that in the past there has been discussion as to what is the 2nd weekend when the Sunday is the 1st. So............no discussion this year.............13th - 14th - 15th December...........KB Rally...............Raincliff
