Smile officer, you're on candid camera

got pulled up today for partaking in some spirited riding, when the officer came up he noticed that i had a gopro camera mounted on my mirror and asked if it was recording, i sed er yep

strait away his tone changed, didnt ask me for my licence, so didnt pick up on my lack of L plate,commented on my shoes but no ticket for nothing, wished me a good day and sent me on my way.........

Anyone else had a similar experience with police and cameras?

dont need a camera for that. just be polite and most of the time there are no hassles just a reminder of the speed limit or something

I doubt having a camera had any bearing on the officer not performing his duties diligently, I just think you got exceptionally lucky.
