The Teutonic Gremlins resurfaced and prevented Gunnyrob from getting Max out of the driveway.
Rob's enthusiasm for the ride and best remedial efforts proved to be little deterrence to their evil machinations and Max's lifeless form was wheeled back into the garage.
Love, care and money (lots of it) have proved to be powerless in preventing the realisation of their goals by the many and varied insidious means they have thus far exploited.
I have no doubt that Rob has considered the long established remedy for destroying Gremlins by immolation but his love for Max has shown itself to be superior to his carnal desire to fuck them over and so cremation of Max has been avoided.
I suggest an intervention or spiritual cleansing may be in order. Should we perhaps appeal to the Biker Gods on Rob's behalf? Beg their indulgence and request some divine intervention by the enlistment and engagement of the powers of good, love, beauty and light to overcome the forces of evil that continue to attack his beloved ride.

    Bloody typical Auckland weather.

    Good move shifting to Canberra.

    Any stories from last week?

Whose doing this week? If Mao is happy I'll be doing my own ride but can still meet peeps at Africa after.

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.

Nothing happened, People rode, people behaved,
    Cop said Hi, then left.

Beer or two was drunk, Wedges and Chups ate.

Anyone want to do it again this week?

five days after pick up Max has settled in for an extended stay at experience bmw. Looks like the starter solenoid fused and indicator switch also died. waiting for a new one to come from germanland ($350) and he's also had his 140,000km service while he's waiting. Hopefully back on the road by next weekend. Arse biscuit.

Mate, I've got an Honda - well two actually. Where the hell am I going to get a worn out driveshaft? My ST has only done 200,000. I don't think my life is going to be long enough to wait for that to wear out.
I suppose I could go see Gunnyrob, Devil, Hospital Food or Gremlin.
