Oh wow it's almost end of day.

No sorry. SASS ends up being too much of a late night for me being sick. And a friend has just passed his licence today so figured I'd take him on a short north run. If I can stop sniffing enough to ride my way home.

Next school holidays I'll be out!! But I'll convince the kid to go out your side when he's mastered the motorway.

Was super awesome to see you guys tonight, glad I came. Need to practice riding at night on country roads and still maintaining the right lines around corners for sure, though I'd never been wherever the hell we were so probably didn't help lol. It's been at least 3 or 4 months since I've been and last time I couldn't do the slalom so was happy I could do that. See you again sometime soon I hope!

Glad to see you had a good ride.

I had a panel screw through my front tyre. Had to stop at every petrol station to get it pumped up. Oh well.

Nice to meet the new people, even if briefly. I hear Chris is going to bring a different bike each week......

Oh Spoke, Gibbox and I wondered bout cha. Figured it was either ur tyre or electrics. Bummer-any idea how it occurred or something random run over? Thankfully never had that yet. BUT, have had someone let my front tyre down but did the girly thing and rang AA. Oh btw, for those of you who venture to High St car park in the CBD, beware the exit barrier arms. They've figured out that motorbikes will get in and park for free in clear spaces and they've figured out they can't enforce breach order notices cos motorcyclists aren't technically in breach if they don't take a ticket (that's evidence of contractual agreement)...SO...what they're doing is lengthening the barrier arms and putting rigid pole bollards on the other sides, to prevent motorcyclist flouting the pay policy and so that bikes have difficulty getting around the arms. At the moment the right hand exit lanes have enough to get around, but that'll change soon. Last week same arm barriers, this week, one new set. They won't post notice, so don't take it for granted or you'll be in a pickle.

I tried taking a ticket and paying legit at a different parking lot. My bike didn't register on their sensor and it wouldn't give me a ticket. So I just went around. Bit of a dilemma if you can't go around and can't get a ticket.

Imagine if you'd attended SASS regularly!

I can personally attest that regular attendance of SASS really builds up your skills and equally importantly, your confidence.
