Like said earlier in the thread - proactive approach has been tried. Doesn't work. At a macro level it never will. It's up to the parents of each and every sprog to raise em right in the first place. Burnouts OK, bottling not. There's your proactive. Problem is, today's boy racers are tomorrow's parents (often literally).

I think people have hit the nail in this thread that the punishments are just pathetic. Much of the time even if the kid gets booked the parents either won't know, or won't care anyway. They'll get fine plus costs and pay it off after whinging to a call centre worker at the Ministry of Justice who's heard the same story a thousand times, and is obligated to believe it.

Also if you provide someone with a playground, then YOU are the person responsible for looking after it and monitoring safety etc. Sad but true.

doesn't look much of a "boy racer" doesn't look lowered, the exhaust isn't 4x too big, no sub in the boot, windows aren't tinted to black, at best the I'd say they've just put low profiles on (tho those could be standard too) as even the wheels look like standard alloys.
