Link title is interesting. Climate change in the US is seen as having been taken over by the more extreme left. I've only met a few hard-core American adherents, but those few certainly behaved like socialists with a new toy/cause.

There is a consensus with scientists on the fact global warming is happening. However, in short, they aren't sure how much, whether the data is being misinterpreted or it's just a natural climate shift etc.
What is clear though, is the opportunity taken to get another scam going from makers of global and national policy.

yep just look at the ETS scheme's, they don't stop pollution, just charge you for it.
We know we (the earth) is warming up but it is no hotter than when I was a kid.
I remember 30+ in some parts, no rain for 2+ months.
so most believe it is just a normal cycle.
But on saying that, as there is 7+ billion people to think we aren't having an impact is a bit short sighted.

It's fascinating what people come up with to blame though. I had an "interesting" discussion with a guy recently who believed it was the fault of volcanoes!?! Talk about a red flag to a bull!
