Nope. I've always wanted one of those ever since I had my 250 Ninja but the right one never popped up on TradeMe in time. I haven't even ever test ridden a 636, only a later model ZX6r. That's a beastly bike though.

Sorry to hear that dude. I totally know what you mean about not wanting to go anywhere to save tyres/gas too. I'm guilty of coming up with excuses to do the same, haha. Hope you're back to SASS soon though!

Nice ride last night in spite of the cold, peeps.

For those of you whose hands have just thawed, try some of these: [URL="http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/motorbikes/parts-for-sale/handlebars-handlebar-parts/auction-734435002.htm"]. It looks like Cycletreads also do them for the same price. They are pretty easy to fit yourself as they are connected directly to the battery. The new controller is pretty good at switching them off before flattening your battery, so you don't need to go looking for a switched power supply.

I'll see how much longer I last without some. I toughed it out the last two winters but I'm gradually turning more and more into a pansy.

Not to say that people with hotgrips are pansies. I'd gladly put some on but I'm lazy. And also cheap.

This one is. I thought that myself – my bike's engine gets up to 100 degrees at some points. Surely there's a way to funnel that heat up to my hands.

Some well placed vacuum hose maybe. Might ruin the aesthetic of my bike though..

Tig Tig, where for art our Tig?Hmmm, in relation to earlier posts...always carry in my back pack bike survival kit with a whole lotto stuff inc spare bulbs. Bag of surprises I have. Have now taken to wearing winter gloves-mismatched cos um cheap and found near new gloves but different brand & hands (free)...but don't care as long as they keep me digits toasty, switched to thermal polypros and oilskins, pretty comfy on MY.
