Ok I just got an email that they don't like you using any cameras as it will add to potential debris on the track if you have an off, or if it falls off, but they won't stop you from using one.

    Phew, crisis avoided.

Here's a shot from video I took last night:

Aaand I just so happen to have made $20 tonight selling an old broken Xbox. Purrfect. Thanks again.

Got a friend to help me measure and set my preload tonight. Nows I got:

    – Front 33mm sag in the front
    – Rear 25mm sag

Not perfect numbers but definitely better than what I was working with previously. I'd like a a bit more sag in the rear but I didn't wanna muck around too much with the rear shock. I'll see how she goes on the ride in to work tomorrow.

My rebound damping is set a half turn softer than previously, which brings it back in line with the stock setting as per my manual and the compression is a 1/4 turn harder than stock.

Good numbers and your working it out.

Tomorrow that will all be forgotten as you will be focused on your riding. But the bike will be more balanced for it.

Tonight have an early night. Dont forget tape for you glass bits.

I will be getting home then the bike will go straight on the trailer. Then mirrors off, quick wash and tape on.

    Tiz gunna be fun.

You can report back and tell others what you think.

Bikes on the trailer and washed. Just waiting for it to dry and I will hit it with tape on the glass bits.

Anybody that wants to come and watch just turn up. No booze. We will get underway 9 to 9.30ish.

Yup awesome day. Knackered as well after that 5:45am start this morning.

Still processing everything but it was a really awesome experience. There was so much to learn and I slowly started getting the hang of it throughout the day and felt like I had made some progression by the end, I dunno if I'd say on fire, but cheers Rob! Was great to be out there with you and Andrew.

Here's a snap from the last session of me chasing Mr. MV off of turn 5.

I'll try to remember to bring a USB of some of the footage Andrew this Tuesday or the next, whenever you're there. Might edit together some of the best bits of the day and I'll post it up sometime.

Great weather - awesome day. Can't help feeling I've a long way to go to catch up with the bike though. Very rarely did I give it full noise - even on the straights.

Nice ride home - feeling a bit jaded this evening though.

To be fair none of us are riding to the limits of the bikes. Parked next to me was a guy with the same bike as me but his is standard. He is a marshal. And was in group 4 and keeps up fine.

Ive got a long way to go.Its all about the rider.

But kinda wishing I was doing it again today.

Really handy having the footage to review actually. I think it'll be pretty useful to have as a refresher before the next track day.

You'd love it Kartik, especially with that Kawasaki beast of yours. You should come along to the next one.

Got a shot of my tyre at Mercer. Still a bit of safety strip left which I'm happy about!
