The sad fact is in a crisis like this the only thing governments have to throw at the problem is the Armed forces hence the reason they send in the troops - we don't have anything else to offer. They can't ship out our health service workers as we need them ourselves.

Google how many people were infected with Malaria in 2012. If Ebola became as prevelant as Malaria how many more people would be killed. Even you should be able to do the maths - Ebola has a kill rate of 70% plus, Malaria has a kill rate of 15- 20%.

I think the west were a bit arrogant in their treatment of the last two Ebola cases - safety wise. They need to knock it on the head in Africa - they could and should have done it months ago.

No way will they bomb Africa over Ebola. It's not a zombie apocalypse it's a nasty disease that could get out of control if they don't knock it on the head. The thought of some lunatics deliberately infecting themselves to spread it in a busy city doesn't bear thinking about. They would only have a short window -once it gets a hold on you I don't think you will be capable of walking anywhere.
