Back to topic, saw link on another site and watched the vid, fella reckons the white smoke/dust is from them firing blanks.
I reckon a 7.62 (basically same as 308) would explode someones head at that range. It wouldn't matter if the bullet was 'tumbling' or not.
The shear impact velocity would pressurise the inside of the skull and splatter contents everywhere.

In the vid the shooters look mighty white behind those ski mask holes. And oh so very planned and executed. Only fully trained military personnel move that calmly and fluenty while staying on mission and not spending too much time at scene. And the picking up of the spare set of shoes.... so much planning.
