It was a problem, and for many years I refused to look into the conspiracy theories simply because doing so entailed watching the horrific act again.

So one of the key differences is time, but another is that I would watch those videos to determine plausibility of the building falling; that content is nothing like watching a man get shot in the head while pleading for his life. And then to mutter ignorantly about how bullets affect this and that and start on the conspiracy theories just for the sake of it, is quite ghoulish.

Well, Ghoulish it might be (I have a very high tolerance for Gore, both fake and Real) but I am going to address the somewhat bigger picture:

The video is purported to show one thing, but appears to show something different - and I will sit on the fence with my feet dangling on the Tin-Foil Hat club on this one - there are discrepancies between what one would expect to happen if the events that it is purporting to portray are real and if it wasn't.

This requires and even demands of us to look the video, not matter how distasteful or distressing we might find it and view it with a critical mind. If after viewing we can find a valid explanation for the differences, then we can put it to rest as another example of man's inhumanity to man. If we cannot find a valid explanation then more critical analysis of what has happened must occur.

I have no problem believing news when there isn't a reason to disbelieve it - but in this instance - there are some questions that need answers. And in light of that - we are discussing the options, as morbid as they may be from an objective and impartial stand point.

It did say unconfirmed. To be fair, they also said that there had been a cop murdered by a head shot even though they must have seen the video. Media doing its job well.

Take for example a hypothetical situation wherein an actual false flag operation is carried out but done so in a professional enough manner that it is extremely difficult to expose the deception.

Do you still simply fall back on accepting what you perceive to be the most likely scenario or do you start investigating any little anomaly that might be noticed in the official story?

You must have a sharper and more keen razor given that you don't have to rely on it as frequently... whereas a dull overused blade is a dull overused blade.
