Thanks for the reminder. It has been forgotten in all the last corner drama.
I note in the post race MM said he had made a mistake that allowed VR to get past. The only mistake he made was not expecting Rossi to come past at that part of the track. He was caught napping big time IMO.
Bang on mate. Shit hot racing !

Great weekend of racing.
The commentators get talked about a lot, I just foudn this on youtube: Dylan Grey (pits commentator) doing a flying lap of Assen while commentating on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c02Kjhjz2_I
Must be hard work doing a lap and talking the whole time?
Fantastic race. Shame we didn't see more of the scrap for 5th but watching MM stalk VR was worth it I think.
Shame about DP's issues with his bike, I watched him off the line and the bike just sat there, wonder what his race pace would have been like if he wasn't having issues, we may have had VR and MM going for 1st and and DP and JL going for 3rd.
Dunno what MM is complaining about, VR was always ahead of him into that corner. I think Rossi is showing his that his bullying tactics will not work and if Marquez wants to make contact with him, he will always come off worse.
Moto3 was fantastic, great to see the power of the KTM's this year, shame Miller never had that much grunt last year, Young Marquez wouldn't have touched him!
Danny Kent is something special too, wonder what he will choose to do at the end of the year, he's already had a crack at Moto2, should he try and jump up to GP?
He is riding very smartly indeed.
Niklas Ajo had me in stitches.

Manopausal.
Those photos show Crasher that those people bitching on about MM's bullying or reckless tactics don't know what they are talking about. He's still not as aggressive as Rossi was in his prime as those photos show. All MM has done is help take racing back to what is was before the "procession" riders like Lorenzo showed up and started complaining when people hassled them to get past instead of following in line like they were "supposed" to. MM and Rossi play the game the same - perhaps the master even schooled MM on how to pass - that whole Laguna thing I am sure was done as a staged pass to just wind up Stoner and his fans.
Cheers

Lol. Yep. They're all for it going down when it's *their boy* handing out the tough justice. And Lorenzo can talk too. He was banned for a couple of races for playing it too dirty from memory. I'm all fucking for it if it's not outright dangerous and dirty. Be fucking boring (as it has been for a few years a couple ago) without it. Keep the biff.
I was getting a bit irked with MM's bin or win attitude but in hindsight ewes fullas are bang on. He can't bugger off this season and the big boys play just as rough and probably smarter. Rossi is a legend because of his give all attitude, if he thinks he can pull it off he will try. MM will surely become more refined and faster as his experience grows. He freely admits Rossi is his hero and no doubt is trying to emulate the master.
Bradley Smith's quote sums up exactly what I thought at the end of the race. Rossi had his options very well planned. Long may it continue, perfect season for me to spring for a video pass.
Oh, been meaning to ask. Does the Yamaha look quicker? I didn't see any horsepower advantage for MM from my armchair perspective.
Manopausal.
That sentence is great except I'd swap Stoner's name for Lorenzo's, but hey it's your sentence.
And GF asked about horsepower. I haven't read anything about power but MMs handling problems have pretty much gone because he changed back to last year's chassis for Assen.
Rossi's crew reportedly found a different set up that his given him better handling at the last two GPs.
