Gotta be from section 6 Conduct of competitions.
Using the old rule nos either 6.10 The onus is on the overtaking competitor etc...Any competitor guilty of foul or unfair riding shall be excluded or etc...
Or 6.11 any competitor guilty of etc...(e) or of any other conduct which the officials consider to be dishonest or illegal may be punished etc....
Don't know if those numbers still hold but those rules should still be in the book. Either would be grounds for protest if the competitor being overtaken blocks the pass.
Glad it's nothing worse than collarbones anyway. Best wishes for them both.
Lolz, somebody that assumed I was there txt me all the best & sorry about that etc before I had a clue. It is the first time we've done anything apart for six years though, so I can understand the confusion at me not being there.
We won't make that mistake again, it's kind of like being homeless without her here.
Update. It seems Aaron has a fairly nasty collarbone break, but it turns out Tracey has a busted ligament that attaches the collarbone to the shoulder, but the bone is intact.
It made the bone pop up & presented as a broken collarbone until X rayed.
