AFAIK, nothings planned for Tauranga, but the short distance between the Mount and White Island could be a worry....Bolt those bikes down.

They're saying - put a quake where they can't ignore it and have to be seen to be doing something to fix people's lives.

I've said from day one that rebuilding the city center - where few now want to work anyway - was the wrong priority. Housing should have come first.
They should have simply fenced off the central city and left it for 2 or 3 years till housing was sorted.

And as for a "Why", why are indicators Amber and not green or blue ??? Could google it but more fun hearing the theories....
I saw a red rear indicator today on my ride in. Was on the back of a Mustang or some such wide American car. I guess they have special dispensation for it. Initially I thought it might have been a single blinking brake light but later on saw the shape they use for those.

Met a guy from the States recently. New Orleans is still a mess, Flint is being poisoned and Haiti is still a cluster fuck.

Absolutely agree. However, we get the solution we can afford and unfortunately, that's classed as an acceptable result. Money only pays for so much.
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

I myself can't stand those style of indicator and really wish they weren't allowed.

The WOF regulations allow for white or amber indicators at the front and red or amber at the rear.

In this household you're a black and white cat who rushes up the tree scaring all the sparrows out of it...

then you sit up the top of it, swaying about on a thin branch...

Cat in this household has discovered that if you sit out in the open you can wind up a pair of minor birds..... Even better if you are on a roof. Couple hours of this at a time can really get annoying

US manufactured vehicles have had red rear-indicator lights for years... some British cars, particularly Fords, had red rear-indicators around the mid-1950s.
