Maccas can charge what they like, and the customers can choose to go there or not, nobody is holding a gun to their head. Hell it may even encourage some of the lazy fucks to cook their children a proper meal for once.

And how, in that they spend less per specific item than others.
Relevant to your previous post, I suspect Macca's have found that their outlets in wealthier areas simply don't attract customers prepared to pay what they get in Porirua, for example. Porirua was the first Macca's in the country for a very good reason.

Yup, just business as usual. Ironically if people cooked instead of macca'd, there'd be less jobs and therefore $ in the local community.
