They did you know...The Damiano family is still around and at least 2 generations of them have roadraced here. We got Dom to translate the useful bits of a Guzzi manual in the 60's...

You may be better off - but not as happy - applying the strong liquor externally.....

The 10yr olds I coach won their first netball game today. Left me speechless at the end of the game and all I could do was applaud them and enjoy their energy. Top job ladies. Top job.

Yeah. I rememeber when my daughter's team won their first game after a couple of years trying at about the same age. We played a mixed competition in a small town, so kids and adults and up to two men on court. It was a hoot.

Heh heh heh ... this was school netball. Although I did play at my daughters club training one day, along with some of the other surprised parents, and it was damned good fun. Kinda reminded me of playing fitba back in the day with the teens boys from the street and some of the men from the local fitba club. Very little quarter given, but never a serious injury sustained. Shame more parents can't get stuck in at training eh.

    As I wasn't a pom I had to google

    Fitba

The stupid game involving 22 grown men (and 3 officials of dubious parentage and eyesight) kicking around a lump of leather around a field, often sparking irrational behaviour, bad language and blind devotion to a team or player, to the detriment of normal marital relations.
