Yep. It has been reported that Gigi Dall'igna in an interview for Italian TV admitted that the mapping message was a coded instruction. (And it did fool the commentators.) As it happened though I don't think the actual overtake was a plan, it looked a bit too dramtic for that. That was an impressive red mark JL left on the track and his little wheelie away from the corner looked like he was accelerating about as hard as he could.

I think the commentators are either idiots for not figuring it out, or obviously playing the game. Dorna would be none too impressed if they openly talked about the result being rigged/tampered with. Best they play the game and keep everyone happy eh?

The BT Sport commentary team had no illusions about the message. Much piss-taking was done.

I thought the race was pretty average compared to last weeks race.
The wet spoilt it for me, infact i didn't even watch till the end.
The commentators just kept on about the fucking championship from the get go and I just lost interest. Once they start the," if he finishes first and this one finishes 27 th ". I turn off.

MM has to do something stuupid to lose this one ! Go MM .

Yeah. At least Keith Huewen is an ex-racer and Julian Ryder is a super involved in motorcycles and racing and the personalities therein. I like their dry humour and Julian's statistical analysis of the minutiae of MotoGP racing.

I was pleased for our fellow Kiwi Pete Benson, he gets another world title to put in his CV as Morbidelli's crew chief. I don't think he'll be cheering for Dovi at Valencia.

Mat Oxley was saying he has a six year old who thought there was a house elf riding Ducati 04. Dad had to explain the difference between Dobby and Dovi.

I wrote an awesome reply before and just noticed it disappeared into the internets. But to paraphrase:

Yes we were robbed of a good race by the weather, dry would have been awesome.

Ducati will regret Petrux mechanical and Redding taking the point as Petrux would have finished ahead of MM in Sepang I think which would have meant AD only would need 2nd if MM DNF's. Even so him getting that is highly unlikely as AD has never finished within 18secs of the winner on any of his bikes except for 2011 when he was being arseholed by Repsol so would have wanted to show them how dumb they are (they weren't). That said the Dovi of this year is very different from years past so I don't think we can draw too many conclusions. Even if MM DNF's though there is JL, VR, DP all with history winning at that track so it's going to be a hard race for him to win.

KTM looking good for the 2018 moto2 title with Olivera, if they can win in moto2 within a year then it wont be long till they are up with the others in GP, especially as their bike apparently has moar powa than the Ducati. Asparagrus is a tops rider so he'll do them ok till BB and MO rock up. Looks like their Moto3 effort has suffered slightly though so hopefully they bring in a better 2018 bike.

I think KTM are looking more than good for 2018 moto2 with both Oliveira and Binder. What a dilemma for a team to be in...

Yup him too, just think they are equally as good riders but Oli has that little bit extra experience in moto2 which will give him the edge. Mir, Bags n Marquez will be in the mix too no doubt

Mir will do well as he is a class act. Will Marquez do the biz though? He has the talent without a doubt. Just seems to be a slow development case (You know what I mean,,, Not a retard )

Ain't moto 2 going to the Triumph motor next season?

If so, that would be a bonus for Mir. Nothing to unlearn. KTM will have the riders but will they produce the bike?

    Questions, questions.
