You like to try and convince people you are smart go figure it out yourself why a guy that pleaded guilty was not given a trial in the first place and how the verdict could be anything other than guilty when someone pleads Guilty.

I assume the Appeal Judges have a better understanding of Tommy Robinson's trial than you do.

I think everyone uderstands the judicial system better then you do.
Maybe you should read the ruling if you read it you would see they identified a procedural error and agreed to rehear it based on this.
His lawyers also appealed the length of the sentence.
None of that changed the fact Tommy plead guilty which was why he was found guilty in the first place.
For all we know the Lawyers based Tommy appeal on diminished capacity. As they said he was confused and didn't understand the charges.
I understand you get off infractions the same way on KB.

On the one hand - I'm pleased that the UK court of Appeal is working as it should - on some level, the checks and balances that safeguard the potential tyranny of the courts are in fact working.

And yet I can't help but be reminded of the long history of civilizations that start to use the courts to deal with those who are politically 'undesirable'

Which is what i said , as it shows the judical system works but Katspaman took umbrage with that, but for the second part Its rather more civilized for them use the courts process rather the gulag and concentration camp gas chambers method. Which is ironic considering its actually Katspamans idols preferred method of getting rid of political undesirables.
